Beach weddings in Cuba | Playa Pesquero
On our second trip to Cuba, we chose Playa Pesquero near Guardalavaca for our holiday destination. It's an amazing place with a beautiful beach and some of the most stunning sunsets you'll ever see.
This place is perfect for any photography session, including beach engagement, beach wedding, and after the wedding, location / trash the dress session.
It's no secret that Cuba currently is the best value location for destination weddings in the Caribbean. Almost all of the hotels in Cuba offer free wedding packages and great incentives to couples for booking their wedding party in their resort. And if you're looking to make your wedding extra special, there's also the brilliance of live Cuban music.
There is nothing more romantic than having a Cuban musician play at your destination wedding. There’s just something about Cuban music that makes you fall in love every time you hear it. You can listen to a live band, in one of the most beautiful places in the world, and you'll take home even more unforgettable memories.
So today, I would like to show you one of my favourite wedding pictures that I took during my holiday. I had seen at least four weddings while I was there. Enjoy:

Wedding Photographer | Documentary | Hampshire | Southampton
I'm really proud to finally invite you to see some of my wedding photography.
It's actually a sneak peek of my younger brother's wedding. I'm glad that the light conditions allowed me to use my camera in the church, as well as at the reception.
99 percent of these pictures where taken using a photo-journalistic approach to wedding photography. - So that later, even after 30 year's time, my brother and his wife will be able to 'travel back in time' to those magical moments when I was witness to their wedding. Enjoy!

New Forest Day Out | Family Photographer | Couple Session | Hampshire
These pictures were taken on that first sunny weekend of 2011. Along with our friends, we decided to have a barbecue somewhere in the New Forest. Knowing that I would have the chance to take some photos of the New Forest on that sunny day, I couldn’t leave my camera at home. I tried to engage my friends – a very lovely couple – in order to get them to pose for me in such a picturesque place; I wanted to use it as beautiful scenery to capture something special.
It's not easy to ask anyone to pose in an intimate way to catch those magical moments of a close relationship, but this is the key. Magda and Lukasz passed this test brilliantly and I hope that the pictures below will prove me (and them) right. Enjoy:

Beauty of Snow | Southampton Common Park | Landscape Photographer | Nature
How unpredictable our lives can be! My previous post was about the beauty of the British Autumn. It has been just two weeks since I took those pictures and no one could have imagined that those two weeks would bring us so much change through the famous power of Mother Nature. All because of snow. Seems like this could be funny for some of you, but snow is not something we usually see where I live. It has grown to be quite a serious issue with most of the schools closing, buses suspended and trains barely operating with a limited timetable. All of those problems forced me to stay at home and work remotely, where I did hope that the snow would stay for a little bit and allow me to capture some of those beautiful city and park landscapes during my lunch break. The view I saw was amazing. Under this winter coat, there was the hidden glow of autumn and that is why my pictures retain some of the colours that are so unusual for a typical winter period. I'm so glad that I can add those photos of the Southampton Common Park to my landscape photography prey.
...and in the end, I could say also that I was very lucky to have my camera with me, as I was planing to give it for the repair... Enjoy:

Colours of Autumn | Southampton Common Park | Landscape Photographer
Only at this time of the year does the weather give us the opportunity to capture nature with a whole palette of colours, where even the rain could be a blessing by adding something special to our pictures. Southampton Common Park is definitely one of the best place to start looking for those magical moments that autumn offers. Landscape fall pictures always have something special in them that could turn these kinds of images into an art.
The picture underneath is just a taste of this and I hope there is going to be more to show in the future. Enjoy:

Free Fashion Show | West Quay | Event Photography Southampton | London catwalk
During the 9th - 10th of the October 2010, the 'Free Fashion Weekend' took place in Southampton West Quay. Rose Forde, an international fashion and celebrity stylist, selected the most striking trends for autumn/winter 2010, inspired by the catwalks of London, Paris and New York. All the clothes were delivered by high street retailers from West Quay like French Connection, Coast, GAP, Levis, John Lewis Southampton, Phase Eight, Sunglass Hut, NEXT, Warehouse, Jane Norman, Karen Millen, ZARA, Oasis, New Look and others. Being there was a different experience for me, having to react quickly to what was going on; I was also unable to direct the subjects in the way I have been used to which was challenging but produced shots that I wouldn't have thought to construct.
Keeping my style, I decided not to use the flashgun. I must admit, it was quite a big challenge, as the light from halogens randomly gave me different colour temperatures. For all shoots, I've used my Nikon D80 and my new baby Nikkor 35mm f1.8 lens. I didn't use any zoom lens, so there was no way that those pictures were going to be different than those you've all seen or are used to from these kinds of fashion shows. I hope you like it, because the world would be boring if everything looked predictable and similar. Enjoy:

Glamour Portrait of a Day | Southampton | Photography
Hello again after a bit of a break. This is my first proposal for the 'Glamour Portrait of a Day.' My wife Kasia was the model, and this is her first time as a guest on my blog. Love you xx.
The picture was taken in the morning with nice/soft daylight coming through the window in our living room using my new baby 35mm f1.8 lens from Nikkor. It was just before we went for our weekly shopping, so there is no special hairstyle or makeup. It is just her, naturally, and that is how I love to take photographs. I love portrait photography, I especially enjoy fashion shoots with female subjects.
I hope you like the portrait and just to let you know, my next post is going to be about 'Free Fashion Weekend', which took place in Southampton's West Quay shopping centre. Stay tuned! Enjoy:
